What roles do doctors, nurses, and other healthcare personnel play?
Our hospice doctors, nurses, home health aides, medical social workers, and chaplains are a team of teachers, counselors, and caregivers who provide expert pain and symptom management for the patient and support the caregivers and the entire family members during the end-of-life passage. After the death of the patient, surviving family members are offered the opportunity to receive grief support for 13 months from licensed grief counselors to help people move through the grief process.
