Administration Responds: If GESO were to become the exclusive bargaining agent of Yale teaching fellows and part-time acting instructors, it could choose to have HERE representatives actively involved in the formulation of the unit’s contract proposals as well as in the negotiations with the University — for example, sitting at the bargaining table and even being the chief negotiators for the unit.
