What role should HACR have in representing the Hispanic community with Corporate America?
HACR already plays a vital role in advocating for the Hispanic community and its importance is reflected in the success of the recent CEO summit in Miami. HACR will play a vital role in harnessing the political and economic vitality of our community and in representing this force before Corporate America. As the face of business begins to change, HACR must continue to be a strong voice on behalf of the Hispanic community with regards to employment, procurement and philanthropy. 3. Do you think that Corporate America is aware what advocacy organizations such as HACR or others do to promote inclusion and corporate responsibility? I believe more and more companies are becoming aware of the importance of diversity in business. While there have been some leaders in this area, most companies are still in the learning stages of understanding how to best interact with the Hispanic community.
