What role should Congress play as a watchdog to the administration?
Congress has oversight authority over the actions and policies of the Federal government, and over the past 30 to 40 years the Executive Branch has committed innumerable acts that have violated the rights, property, and liberty of the American people. Unfortunately, most of the attempts by Congress to investigate the actions of the Executive Branch and to hold them accountable have been defeated and misrepresented to the American people. Congress must overcome the efforts by the international bankers, multinational corporations, and the Executive Branch to constrain Congress to be a mere rubber stamp on the actions of a runaway, despotic Executive. Only an honorable few in Congress have stood firm in fulfilling their oaths of office to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. The others are content to take money from corporate lobbyists and pass their laws against small and medium sized American businesses that might compete with them, while pretend
