What role does the Navy play in family life?
A. The Navy offers several programs through the Fleet and Family Support Centers to provide counsel on a myriad of matters to include finances, parenting skills, relocation assistance, spouse employment and family re-unions after long separations. In addition to these services being available to service members and their dependents ashore, several of these professionals visit ships returning from deployment to give introductory courses and familiarize them with the programs available.
