What role does the CAS program have in a typical day for a UWC student?
A UWC student has to balance his or her time maintaining a good academic standing while taking part in the Creative Arts Services (CAS) program. A particular United World College may have a strength in one aspect of the CAS programs. Pearson College for example is inclined to offer marine activities such as Race Rocks natural reserve protection, scuba diving, and sailing with special children. UWC-USA on the other hand has a strong wilderness service program set in the isolated New Mexico back country. Adriatic College in Italy caters more to a greater appreciation for culture and arts.
