What role does Distillers.com play in the Case-in-Cask process?

0

Distillers.com have enabled a syndicate to be formed to own a cask of whisky which is still lying in bond, maturing. The syndicate will be fully formed on completion of the cask sale. On initial set up of the syndicate, Distillers.com will act as the syndicate agent/nominee but this can be changed by the syndicate members, or when Distillers.com asks the syndicate to do this (usually once the cask is partly sold). The syndicate should then be self governing.
