What role do partners – World Vision, Food for the Hungry, etc, play?
These organizations play several roles. They are the hands and feet “on the ground” in the countries in which TPP works. In the areas that TPP’s projects are implemented, these organizations already have infrastructure and indigenous staff functioning on the ground. By using those existing resources, a synergy and incremental benefit is created in providing assistance to the extremely poor. Also, each of these organizations has created within their donation structure a fund designated specifically for projects developed in conjunction with TPP. These funds are set aside specifically for TPP project use, and co-managed by Paradigm andour Non-profit partner organizations to assure that the funds are spent directly on their intended purpose within partner communities.
