What role do objectors (and other third parties) play at planning appeals and reviews?
• Answer: Anyone who made a representation or objection to an application will be advised when an appeal or review is made. Copies of all representations and objections made will be forwarded to the Reporter or Local Review Body, who will take these into account before coming to a decision. In the event of a hearing or public inquiry, everyone who made representations on the subject under consideration at the hearing will have the opportunity to participate.
