What role did the type of journal a study was published in play in the evaluation/grading of the study?
The type of journal was not part of the evaluation or grade. The databases searched included published studies from any and all relevant peer-reviewed medical and science journals published (on-line or hard copy) in the English language. Each included study was evaluated on its own merit using preset criteria to assess the methodological rigor and quality of the study’s design and implementation.
