What role did homosexuality and decadence play in the fall of the Roman Empire?
Homosexuality. none. Decadence is a symptom of people with too much money or power and not enough work to do. When a large portion of the populace no longer has a lot of work to focus on, they tend to get into trouble, eg start doing things just for kicks. An example – children in gangs sometimes get there because “there was nothing better to do”. Just like heterosexuals, homosexuals come in good, bad and indifferent flavors; sexual orientation has nothing to do with your morality.
