What role did hermann goering play in the haulocaust?
Goering OK’d the plans for Hitler’s final solution and therefore was in full knowledge of the events that were transpiring in Germany. He was the General in charge of Germany’s Luftwaffe, or air force. After Hitler committed suicide and Himmler did the same, Goering was now Germany’s leader by previous plans of Hitler. Therefore Goering when arrested, was held responsible for the horrible atrocities committed by the Nazis and the Third Rich. He was tried at Numbering and found guilty for war crimes against humanity. However, he never was executed for his crimes. The night of the execution, Goering committed suicide himself.
