What Role Can Pharmacists Play?
Pharmacists are in a unique position as the nation’s medication experts and one of the most accessible members of a patients’ health care team to play a key role in reforming our health care system. Pharmacists can improve the delivery of services and quality of care through preventive care services such as medication therapy management (MTM) services. Providing patients access to pharmacist-provided patient care services is a priority for APhA.
