What rhymes did you used to chant in the playground while slapping hands with a partner?
We use to chant a lot of thing but the one I really like was this hand game called tree top: Rockin’ in a tree top all day long Huffin’ and a puffin and a singing that song All the little bird on the neighbors street told them to go and wash there feet wash ya feet, tweet tweet i love the beat The song is longer but I don’t feel like typing the rest.
oooh I used to love those still do Here’s one that my children have taught me (it has actions too) Apple sticky makes me icky makes my heart go two four sixty not because you’re dirty not because you’re clean not because she kissed a boy behind a magazine Here comes (name your partner) with her skirt up high She can walk, she can taalk, she can do whatever she likes But I bet she can’t do it with her eyes shut tight (then repeat with your eyes shut and still slapping hands and doing the actions 🙂 xx
