There are numerous shopping centers conveniently located within miles of the community. Target, Wal-Mart, The Home Depot and Lowe’s are close by. A Publix shopping center at the corner of Bill Gardner Parkway and Hwy. 155, is a mile north of Heron Bay, and an Ingles grocery story is east of I-75 on Bill Gardner Parkway. In addition, a Publix shopping center is located at 920 Hwy. 81E in McDonough, and a Kroger is located at 301 Jonesboro Road in McDonough. The Tanger Outlet Mall is also located just east of I-75 within six miles of the community. South Pointe Mall, one exit north of Heron Bay, offers JC Penney, Kohls and Hobby Lobby as flagship stores, along with several boutiques.
