What result of World War One most complicates our modern political landscape?
The idea of a league of nations, created after world war one and this idea has evolved into the UN and EU two powerful and large organisations, no such league existed before WW1 but after it was recognised that something needed to be done to try to keep the peace. It did not result in the rise of communism that was separate to the war although probably would not have become so powerfully an idea if it wasn’t for the suffering caused by WW1 particularly in Russia. The economic Problems and the Treaty of Versailles where only prominent political features until WW2.
