What restrictions are there for snow removal?
To maintain safety on City streets and sidewalks, the City, through its Municipal Code, prohibits any person from blowing, placing, or piling any snow or ice on City streets or public right-of-way. This can create a traffic hazard and the violator will be liable. A property owner or hired service found to violate this Code will first be given written notice. Should the violation occur again, a citation with sums of $50 for single-family residential and $100 for multi-family, commercial, or industrial will be issued per event.
