You may only open regular, Flex, and Save Smart Certificate Accounts through Internet Banking (no IRAs or jumbo certificate accounts). You may open a certificate account for any term from 3-84 months, with a minimum deposit of $500 ($250 for Save Smart) and a maximum deposit of $25,000. Certificate accounts can only be opened during normal business hours—Monday-Friday from 8 am – 7 pm EST and Saturday from 9 am – 5 pm EST. You are not permitted to add a joint account owner when opening certificate accounts online.
