C-MAP content is not textbook specific. Billings and Halstead’s “Teaching in Nursing: A Guide for Faculty” was used as a reference during the development of the C-MAP structure. C-MAP is an outcome based curriculum that integrates selected concepts related to the discipline of nursing. Curriculum development began after a review of literature which identified trends in nursing and health care.
