What resource(s)/directory(ies) contains individual, institutional prospects and/or foundations categorized by persuasion/mission?
Answer The Foundation Center publishes, online and in print, the Foundation Directory, an essential resource. Various publishers put out directories of corporations and individuals but they are not uniformly of high quality. Go to the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) website book store and see what seems to fit your needs. Another option, before you spend your money, is to see what your public library has. These books and subscriptions are not cheap and, apart from the Foundation Directory, they are not necessarily well done. Best wishes and let me know if I can help further.
