What resources are available at Carolina for international students?
The Office of International Student and Scholar Services, housed in the FedEx Global Education Center, serves as the principal administrative, programming and advising office for international students, faculty and academic staff on the Carolina campus. In addition to administrative services such as visa and application procedures, the center offers a variety of programs including advising, tutorials, conversation partners, a speaker’s bureau, cross-cultural adjustment support, and social events such as the annual International Festival. They include the Asian Students Association, Association of International Students, Carolina Canadian Club, Carolina Hispanic Association, Carolina Turkish Club, Chinese Students Association, Hellenic Students Association, Korean American Student Association, Persian Cultural Society and many more.
