The British Library is the national library of the United Kingdom and provides a vast range of resources and services to support your research. The library receives a copy of every publication produced in the UK and Ireland and the collection includes 150 million items, in most known languages. In addition to books and journals the library houses collections such as manuscripts, maps, newspapers, magazines, prints and drawings, music scores, patents, reports, conference papers and a sound archive.
