What resolution is recommended for large format image files?
The general rule is that if the banner needs to be seen from a farther distance the printing would be done in less dpi and vice versa. For optimal large format output, we recommend 100-150 dpi of data at final print size for photo images. 75 dpi at final print size is adequate for most jobs. A good rule of thumb is to try and have an original source file at 25% of the final output size with 300 – 450 dpi resolution.
