RESCUED British backpacker Jamie Neale gorged himself on pizza the night before setting off on a day walk that turned into a 12-day ordeal when he became lost in the Blue Mountains in NSW. Mr Neale’s father Richard Cass said today his son’s stomach was full when he left on a trek towards the Ruin Castle on July 3 after he loaded up on carbohydrates at a pizza promotion at his youth hostel.
