What requires renewing?
Software Assurance is all that needs renewing with Microsoft, if this was not purchased with your licences then you don’t need to do anything. Microsoft are simply telling you that the agreement is coming to its end, the agreement number/authorisation number lasts for 2 years, so all this means is that the next time you need office licences, you will need to purchase the minimum quantity again.
