New HP-UX operating environments with Java and Perl should run HP Apache “out of the box” with no additional software needed. Special requirements relate mainly to Java and Perl. The only exceptions are Tomcat JSPs (Java Server Pages) that require the Java JDK and the servlet container called JServ which requires a copy of the Java JSDK 2.0.
