TimeFiler uses Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to render reports. SSRS is a widely used, capable report writer and is available as part of the SQL Server license. Microsoft limits some SSRS functionality in SQL Server 2005 Express Edition, which we have worked around to ensure that users get the same report functionality no matter what version of SQL server is in use.
