What recreational sporting facilities are available for students?
Monash Sport manages the sporting facilities on campus. There is gym facilities, soccer pitch, basketball court, tennis court and cricket nets on campus. The Student Union and campus clubs and societies also organise a range of sporting and social activities during the course of the year. In Residences the students have access to sporting equipment; footballs, tennis racquets etc, including a table tennis table and pool table in the common room. Berwick Residential has a table tennis and pool competition each year. We also have sporting days amongst the residents at Berwick and against other MRS Sites. In Berwick there is access to community sporting facilities including swimming pools, gyms, sporting clubs etc.
Recreational facilities are on-campus and often various events are organised specifically for Mews residents by their RST to enjoy. Also, Monash Sport manages the sporting facilities on-campus. There are gym facilities with a special discounted offer for residents, and access to many sporting areas such as basketball, netball, badminton and soccer.
