What records need to be kept by the “deposit initiator” regarding the special account?
Deposit initiators must keep adequate records to document the refund value deposited in the special account, and the refund value withdrawals from the account. The DEP will be developing regulations in the near future to fully implement the provisions of Public Act 08-1.
