What record label beginning with E did Sinad sign to?
In 1985 Sinad signed a 4 album record deal with the now defunct label, Ensign Records. During the year of 1985, Sinad wrote songs for her debut album, and by mid-1986 she had turned them into full musical compositions and was ready to enter the studio to record them. Under producer Mick Glossop’s direction, Sinad recorded the songs, but it was evident that the songs were no good. Her manager at that time was Facthna O’Ceallaigh, he and Sinad agreed that Glossop was trying to douse Sinad and O’Ceallaigh’s ideas for the album. By the time Glossop was ready to remix the album for it’s release, Sinad met with record executives, they agreed to let Sinad call all the shots and produce herself. She entered the studio with engineer Kevin Moloney in April of 1987 and began recording. By June of that year, Sinad finished the album, and record executives were pleased with the results.
