What Rebates does CPNMD offer for members within the district that utilize water conservation methods?

0

The CPNMD offers eight different rebates as incentives for organizations and residents within the district. The rebate program has been in effect since 2003 with new rebates added in June 2006. The largest water consumption from the wells comes from residential usage. Residents use water both in their homes (flushing toilets, taking showers and washing clothes), and outside (watering the yard, trees and plants). Residents can conserve water inside by installing low flow toilets, water efficient showerheads and front load washing machines. Outside, residents can reduce the amount of water they need for landscaping by replacing sod with xeriscaped plants, installing a rain sensor and/or an ET controller on their irrigation system and putting in a programmable irrigation clock. The rebate program is one of the many ways the CPNMD is working in partnership with the City of Castle Pines North to help conserve our water for the future.
