What rebate is available for water efficient dual flush toilets?
The rebate available for water efficient dual flush toilets is $100 for toilets purchased and installed from 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2013. The toilet must be a water efficient dual flush toilet of 6L/ 3L or better, and must have a WELS rating of 3 stars or better. The rebate for a dual flush toilet is only available when replacing an existing single flush or less efficient dual flush toilet. The toilet or cistern must be installed by a licensed plumber. A licensed plumber must also issue a PIC Certificate of Compliance if the total cost of the toilet, materials and installation is $750 or greater.
