What rates apply for excess baggage?
Depending on your standard baggage allowance and the route (zone) of your flight, you pay a fee for each additional piece of luggage you wish to bring. You get a discount of 20% or more on these fees if you arrange for your excess baggage when booking your flight at KLM.com, via Manage my Booking or during online check-in! If your baggage is heavier or of unusual shape, you also pay an excess baggage fee. If your baggage is very heavy or large, we are happy to transport it as freight.
