Alrighty! To be a commercial pilot you need: -to be 18 years of age or older -to be able to read, speak, write and understand English -to pass the Commercial knowledge exam (written) -to recieve the required training and a logbook endorsement for the rating sought from your instructor -to meet the aeronautical experience required for the rating (need the required amount of times-ground, total, pic, solo, etc..) -pass the checkride -to hold atleast a Private Pilot certificate So now after all that, you need to choose which commercial you want. Do you want the multi-engine certificate with a single engine add-on or the single engine commercial with the multi-engine add-on? Single requirements: -250 hours total time -100 hours in a powered aircraft, 50 of which MUST be in airplanes -100 hours of pilot in command time which includes 50 hours in an airplane and 50 hours in cross-country flight time of which at least 10 hours must be in an airplane -20 hours of ground training -10 hours of i
