What r the problems associated if diesel engine is fitted instead of petrol engine ?
If we are talking about a factory installation, then a similar car with a diesel engine instead of gasoline (petrol) will get better fuel mileage, and lower emissions. A minor trade-off is that the diesel engine car will be a bit heavier, and slightly slower on acceleration. If you live in an area where cold winter temperatures (below freezing) are normal, then your diesel engined vehicle may benefit from an engine block heater and winter fuel additives to prevent jelling.
