What r the names of satan and the chambers of hell?
First, the bible does not speak of chambers in hell. This is from some tradition or religion other than scripture. Satan is a name (means “accuser” or “adversary”). “The Devil” is more along the lines of a title, as “devil” is a common word. “Lucifer” is a name associated with Satan, but this derives from a mistranslation of an Old Testament scripture (from the Latin Vulgate, in fact, the first bible, or perhaps an even earlier translation into Latin). “Lucifer” is not associated with Satan in Jewish tradition or in Christian tradition pre-dating Latin translation. “The Serpent” in the garden of eden *is* associated in ancient Jewish and Christian *traditions* with Satan, even though he is never referred to as Satan in scripture. “The prince of Tyre” has been associated with Satan in many Christian sects, but a reading of the passage in context makes it *very* difficult to rationally assert such an incongruous interpretation.
