Well there is a mistake in question. There are CDMA and GSM phones. GPRS is the mode of data transfer in GSM systems. GSM Stands for Global System for Mobiles. It operates over frequencies 900Mhz, 1200MHz, 1800 MHz. It is used mostly in world. There is always only indivisual connection exists through mobile phone and receiving station. GPRS stands for General Packet Data Service. It allows GSM users to use internet via Packet Data Technology over a GSM . CDMA stands for Code Division Multiple Access. It operates over very small frequency 1.25Mhz hence they require less power. CDMA is also spreading all over the world as it is very inexpensive. But CDMA haves some disadvantages like if there are no many CDMA phone connected to same receiving station there is loss of call quality.
