What question types can be used in Blackboard tests and surveys?

0

There are several types of questions that you can use in tests and surveys: fill in the blank, matching, multiple answer, multiple choice, ordering, essay, true/false, calculated formula, calculated numeric response, file response, hot spot, quiz bowl, either/or, fill in multiple blanks, jumbled sentence, opinion scale and short answer. You will select one of these types from a drop-down list each time you create a new question. All question types, except for essay, file response and short answer are scored automatically. Note that although fill in the blank and fill in multiple blanks questions in tests are scored automatically and that you can specify up to 20 possible correct answers for a question, you should review students’ answers to these questions, just as you would those for essay questions. It’s very difficult to predict the range of typographical errors (e.g., the inadvertent inclusion of white space) in an otherwise correct answer that the system would score as incorrect.
