One serving of soy milk is usually 1 cup. It’s not clear how much soy is needed to reduce menopausal symptoms. How much soy to eat to relieve menopausal symptoms is an area of intense interest. Our feeling is that you’d likely have to eat the soy almost daily and likely at the level consumed in the Asian diet (20-30 grams soy protein/day containing 40-60 mg isoflavones or more).
