What qualities must an individual possess in order to be a good customer service representative?
Having an outgoing personality would be a great trait for a customer service representative to have. Patience in abundance and feathers not easily ruffled. The ability to chit-chat and make small talk about a variety of things and an ability to find a common bond will make people remember you and the company you represent, whether or not they ever talk to you again. These are all transferable skills; basically just good manners and common sense.
