What qualities does NTI look for in applicants?
NTI’s call center co-employers typically look for people who have a pleasant manner on the phone, a clear speaking voice, and basic computer skills. To actually enjoy the work, though, you should like helping people by answering their questions and solving their problems. You should also be able to handle the occasional irate customer without becoming upset yourself. It is challenging to deal with hundreds of customers each day, and not everyone has the right temperament to be a good agent. Being a quality control auditor and listening to other agents handle calls is a possibility for those who do not fit the profile of the ideal customer service agent. Auditors rate other agents on their performance but do not have to talk with the customers themselves.
