What qualifies Stacy to speak on the topics of teamwork, change and risk taking?
I have been climbing mountains and leading successful expeditions for more than 20 years in remote regions around the world including Tibet, Pakistan, and Russia. In addition to speaking, I own and operate a residential building company. We specialize in the restoration and remodeling of older homes. From my experiences of climbing and building I know, first hand, what it takes to succeed. Both demand strong teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication to provide the best quality products on schedule. Both require constant assessing and reassessing the changing environment to be able to take advantage of opportunities quickly-or to adjust strategies if needed. Both require assessing risks and incorporating them into daily decisions.
