What qualifies as a “Needham Connection?
The third preference pool will be for applicants who qualify with a Needham Connection. An applicant qualifies for the “Needham Connection” preference if they currently live in Needham , work in Needham , or have another meaningful connection to Needham . Such connections include having (1) graduated from Needham High School; (2) parents who live in Needham; (3) lived in Needham for over twelve months within the past 5 years; and/or (4) a child attending Needham Schools as a current METCO student.
