What qualifications do i need to be a plasterer?
Well, you do need to be good at plastering and if you want to be self-employed, you have to be good at managing your finances or have someone to do that for you. There are countless educational institutes that offer vocational qualifications in the more practical careers like plumbing, plastering and building etc. It is a good idea to maybe study a short course because this will give you something to show your future customers that will prove you can do it. There is no law to say that you cant be a plasterer if you have no qualifications. As long as you are insured and registered for taxation you will not be breaking the law. I run my own business where i fix computers. I am studying at college while i do this, and have had a lot of success with it.
