You have to consider two things. First what area of scientific expertise do you want to use in forensic science. Secondly, do you want to do just laboratory work or actual go to court to give expert evidence. The areas of forensic science are very broad and cover the disciplines of biology, biochemistry, genetics, chemistry, physics, metallurgy, pharmacology etc etc. Choose a combination of scientific A levels that suit your leaning and interest. With A levels you could get a job in forensic science but it will limit it you to laboratory work only. Basically a technician If you propose to go to university then choose A levels for the degree you would need. Most people entering forensic science now have a degree even if they remain doing lab work.
