TDG regulations are designed to improve public safety when dangerous goods are being handled, offered for transport or transported. They are a set of rules that set safety standards and shipping requirements for hazardous goods. The Regulations also provide a means of communicating the nature and level of danger associated with chemicals by means of placards and hazard symbols.
