SubjectAltName example: Environment: Windows 2003 running MS IIS 6.0 One web site configured and this site through DNS responds to 2 names. The site is currently being accessed by internal users and external users. The SubjectAltName can therefore be used to reflect the internal DNS name. This will resolve the common security alert that occurs when a certificate is only signed for the external FQDN.
