What publications must adhere to the Stevens Amendment?
A1. Only those paper publications that reach the public. The Stevens Amendment does not apply to websites, television commercials, or radio advertisements. Q2. My program currently maintains an inventory on all items of equipment purchased. The expanded version lists 9 points of information we need to maintain. For the equipment inventory, do we just include the information on future purchases or do need to recap all 9 points of our existing equipment? A2. The expanded inventory information includes those purchases made July 1, 2006, and after. This should include all items of equipment purchased with state or federal funds that are tangible, nonexpendable property having a useful life of more than one year.
