KUB uses lateral pruning methods, recommended by the National Arbor Day Foundation, which remove the tree branch back to the closest lateral branch growing away from the electric line, leaving no stub to decay. This helps redirect the tree’s growth away from the electric line. KUB does not round-over or top trees for the health of the trees.
