What provision is being made for Mac users?

Outlook 2003 is not available for the Mac. However, Mac users will be able to use Outlook Web Access (OWA)- see 7. above – for their immediate e-mail and calendaring needs. OWA works with Safari, Firefox and Opera browsers and has most of the functionality of Outlook. In addition, we encourage Mac users to use Microsoft’s OSX e-mail client, Entourage. Entourage (part of Microsoft Office 2004 for the Mac) has been extensively tested by DIT staff and integrates well with Outlook 2003, providing calendar and e-mail facilities and allowing users to share calendars with colleagues using Macs or Windows PCs. Once your mail account has been migrated to Exchange, follow our ‘How to…’ guide for detailed instructions on how to install and configure Entourage. [Note: Mac users can download Entourage from the University’s Software Download Service (University login required). Once logged in, follow the links to Microsoft > Office > mac > Office 2004.
